Questions about team training
Does each employee need their own licence?
Yes. Each learner needs their own licence, account and email address. One licence gives access to the course library for the chosen term. For example, 6 licences for 12 months cost £189 in total, including VAT and the applicable team discount.
How do I buy licences for a team?
Choose 12, 24 or 36 months and enter 3 to 50 licences on the pricing page. Review the discounted total at Stripe checkout before paying. After purchase, email workwithus@chefsbay.co.uk with the learner names and email addresses so we can help arrange access.
What are the team discounts?
5% from 3 licences; 10% from 5 licences; 15% from 10 licences; 20% from 20 licences. The highest eligible discount applies to the whole order and is available for every access term. Use the team form for the discount. Prices and order totals include VAT.
Is there a manager dashboard or team reporting?
No. There is no manager dashboard, shared progress view or team reporting. Each learner studies in their own account. For certificated courses, ask staff to download their certificates and send them to you. Keep your training records separately.
Is there a minimum order or a setup fee?
You can buy one licence. There is no setup fee. Team discounts start at 3 licences bought together. For a smaller order, choose an individual plan on the pricing page and set the quantity at checkout.
Can I get a receipt or discuss invoicing?
Stripe emails your payment receipt after purchase. Email workwithus@chefsbay.co.uk before ordering if you need to discuss invoice details or procurement requirements.
When does a learner get access?
Access starts after account setup. Each learner needs their own email address; the training platform emails their login details after registration. For team purchases, we help arrange the individual accounts. Keep the payment confirmation link private.
How long can staff use the courses?
Choose 12, 24 or 36 months of access. Each plan is paid once, with no automatic renewal. Staff can complete courses and retake assessments during their access period. Contact us when you need a new licence or help with access.
Can different staff take different courses?
Yes. Every plan includes the same 130+ courses, so each learner can choose the included courses that match their role. The access length changes between plans; the course selection does not.
What will the certificates show?
Certificate details are listed on each course page. Where a completion certificate is available, it names the learner and the course completed and can be downloaded after passing the assessment. CPD accreditation applies where stated on the course page. These courses do not award regulated qualifications. Check any specific award or practical training requirement before buying.
How does the money-back guarantee work?
