This course studies fundamental British values together with the Prevent duty in early years and education settings. The curriculum includes democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect, then considers how values are reflected in everyday practice with children.

The Prevent modules cover the legal context, recognising radicalisation concerns and referral topics, including the Channel programme. Early years practitioners, teachers, teaching assistants and education managers are the intended audience.
