Understanding the structure of CfE
The four capacities and eight curricular areas form part of this course’s introduction to Curriculum for Excellence. The modules then look at experiences and outcomes, assessment and progression, and approaches that connect learning across subjects. Early learning and childcare has its own place in the curriculum.
The course is intended for teachers, early years practitioners and education support staff in Scotland. It offers a framework-focused topic alongside courses dealing with individual observations or the wider wellbeing of children and families.
