Looking at how children approach learning
This course brings together playing and exploring, active learning, and creating and thinking critically. Each characteristic has a place in the curriculum, followed by modules on observing them in practice and considering how the learning environment supports them.
The focus is useful for early years practitioners, nursery staff, childminders and teaching assistants working in EYFS settings. It gives those learners a specific subject to study alongside broader child development and assessment courses.
