Driver awareness for work journeys
This course is written for people whose job includes driving. Delivery drivers and couriers are part of that audience, alongside sales representatives, mobile engineers and staff who use their own car for business. It also suits fleet managers reviewing the risks of work journeys.
The 1-2-hour syllabus covers occupational road risk and driver fitness, including fatigue. Vehicle checks and journey planning have their own modules, followed by incident reporting and post-collision procedures. These are the work-related subjects to compare with your training brief when choosing the course.
For delivery or mobile roles that also involve time alone, lone working training covers communication and check-in arrangements. Managers reviewing a wider range of tasks can also study workplace risk assessments.
